We attended “Export EXPO,” held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, June 21 to Friday, June 23, 2023. Companies we support were also exhibiting, and we toured a wide range of booths, exchanging views and holding business meetings. The exhibitors were companies seriously thinking about and acting on overseas expansion and their next moves, so the venue was full of energy. We heard many very positive comments, such as “Now is the time to make our move” and “Looking ahead, we need to act early.”

Over the three days, the show drew more than 23,000 visitors. Booths from a wide variety of companies and local governments lined the halls, tastings were in full swing, and the business meeting booths were crowded—it truly felt as if everyone was making up for the time lost during the pandemic.
We expect expansion into overseas markets to become even more active from here on. We strongly encourage you to look carefully at your company’s future and take action.
