Our representative, Suguru Nishida, has been appointed Director of the Japan Branch of the Brazilian Japanese Food Association (https://abgj.org.br/), a Brazil-based organization that promotes Japanese food culture and exchange between Japan and Brazil.
To date, he has been involved in international exchange and market development centered on Japanese food culture in North America, China, and Brazil. In Brazil in particular, he has promoted Japanese food culture locally through three consecutive years of participation in the São Paulo Japan Festival, while supporting a wide range of Japanese manufacturers in entering the Brazilian market and exporting their products.
Building on this experience, he will work even harder as a bridge between the two countries to deepen and develop cultural exchange through food.
